The session will begin with a lived experience story from a member of the Left Write Hook team, sharing how rebuilding a relationship with money can be an important part of healing and reclaiming choice after trauma.

Led by Beyond Bank, this practical workshop will cover topics including:

• Creating a simple budget that works for you

• Understanding different bank accounts and how to choose the right one

• Managing debt and understanding credit

• Protecting yourself from scams, identity theft and financial abuse

• Understanding financial abuse.

While this session has been developed with a focus on empowering women, everyone is welcome to attend.
