This conversation brings together two vital, survivor-led initiatives in Australia tackling the impacts of sexual abuse from different, yet deeply connected angles. Hosted by Tania Austin, Executive Chair of DECJUBA, the discussion weaves together the work of Donna Lyon, founder of Left Write Hook, and Sarah Rosenberg, co-founder of With You We Can.
After a successful pilot program, Left Write Hook for men, incorporating non-contact boxing and creative writing, designed and delivered by lived-experience survivors, is coming to Frankston.
Last month Documentary Australia announced that the Left Write Hook documentary is now available on DocAccess for screening in communities and organisations.
On Tuesday, 21 July, our founder and CEO, Dr. Donna Lyon, will join Sarah Rosenberg, co-founder of With You We Can, for a powerful conversation about the realities survivors of sexual abuse face in recovery and the courtroom and what real change can look like.
