Our wonderful men's program facilitator Joe will be hosting a free creative storytelling and reflection workshop for men.

This month, we delivered Building financial confidence after trauma, a free online session bringing together lived experience, practical financial knowledge and community in partnership with Beyond Bank.

Left Write Hook is coming back to Ballarat with more survivor support. This includes our first dedicated youth program as well as another women and gender-diverse program.

We’re coming to Frankston this October with our first full-scale recovery program for men, run by men.

The program will run for 8 weeks on Saturdays from 10 October to 28 November. Register your interest.

If you’re struggling with the impacts of trauma and need to speak with someone who understands, we recommend reaching out to the Sexual Assault Crisis Line (SACL), this is a service that a many of us from the Left Write Hook team trust and use.

Two years ago, the Left Write Hook documentary premiered globally, bringing survivor voices to audiences across Australia and beyond. What began as 8 survivors getting together in a gym to write about their experiences, share and practice boxing, turned into a documentary and has now grown to become something much bigger!
