Left Write Hook Trial Receives National MAGNET Award

We’re proud to share that the Left Write Hook Randomised Controlled Trial has been awarded the 2026 MAGNET Lived Experience Involvement Award, recognising the power of survivor leadership in mental health research.

Presented by the Mental Health Australia General Clinical Trials Network (MAGNET), this national award celebrates excellence in lived experience leadership and involvement in mental health clinical trials research.

The award recognises the collaboration between researchers, lived experience leaders and the Left Write Hook community in designing and delivering a groundbreaking research trial that places survivor voices at its centre.

The award was announced to Dr Caitlin Hitchcock and the trial team, recognising their outstanding contribution to advancing mental health research and improving mental health outcomes.

The MAGNET assessment panel selected the Left Write Hook Trial as the recipient of the 2026 award for its exceptional approach to lived experience involvement.
