Coordinate collection of print materials with Programs & Admin Officer
Distribute promotional materials across relevant LGAs in advance of screenings and/or programs.
Estimated time commitment
~10 hours per film screening or program
Note: At this stage we are accepting EOIs for this volunteer role from all LGAs. When we receive your expression of interest we will complete the volunteer onboarding process with you so you are active in our system. Then, when we have a film screening or a program coming to your LGA, we will contact you to request your support. Due to the nature of funding and scheduling, we may not actively engage you for several months after you are onboarded.
Skills and requirements
Good knowledge of your local area
Confidence entering different public spaces (cafes, libraries, community centres), engaging in conversation with staff and requesting to leave print materials
Confidence explaining the Left Write Hook program
Physical ability to carry and transport boxes of up to 10 kg (this is the maximum weight of the print materials you will be distributing)
Reliable and able to work quickly and independently
Access to reliable transport (public transport is fine)
Commitment to and understanding of the Left Write Hook mission
