Being part of the Global Impact Summit

We're excited to share that Dr Donna Lyon, Left Write Hook Founder and CEO, will be speaking at the Global Impact Summit in Sydney on Thursday 6 August 2026.

The Global Impact Summit brings together leaders from the not-for-profit, business, philanthropy and social impact sectors to share ideas, spark collaboration and explore practical solutions to some of Australia's biggest social challenges.

Donna will join Dr Michelle Lim (Ending Loneliness Together), Dr Natalie Kaine (Vision Australia) and Dr Lyndsay Brown (Black Dog Institute) for a series of powerful six-minute talks on belonging.

Together, they will explore why belonging is not simply something that helps us feel connected, but something that is fundamental to our health and wellbeing.

Drawing on Left Write Hook's survivor-led approach, Donna will speak about the importance of recognising the whole person and creating communities where people feel seen, valued and connected.

We're proud to see these conversations included on a national stage alongside leading voices in mental health, social connection and disability inclusion.
