The Spit Bucket
We wanted to share the lovely work of The Spit Bucket, a fan zine created by David and Lizzy Turner from Writers On Boxing to celebrate the sport of boxing through writing and visual art.
Dr Donna Lyon was featured in the latest issue of The Spit Bucket, amongst a great group of passionate artists, where she introduces the work behind Left Write Hook.
They discuss creativity and presence in both writing and movement and highlight the importance of choice and community in creating safe, trauma-informed spaces where people can rebuild agency and move out of isolation.
Donna also reflects on the broader impact of our work, from improved wellbeing for participants to shifting public conversations about trauma.
